The Search for Beauty in Michigan City

The Search for Beauty in Michigan City is Dan's and Sondra's outlet for musical experimentation when they are not playing with Dirt Circle Dogs. Sondra experiments with giving old poetry a new sound, overlapping melodies, and multiple harmonies, inspired by her background with choral music and her degree in English. Dan turns music into a math problem, experimenting with time signatures and unusual composition structure. Together they are searching for beauty in an industrial wasteland.
